Honda CR-V Transform into New Wild Hybrid Racing Car 2023 – Recently, there has been a lot of news about Honda turning the CR-V into a racing car with 800 hp.
According to news circulating, this project has completed and willbe officially introduced on February 28, 2023.
Based on teaser photos, it can seen that body of this car has heavily modified so that its shape does not look at all like the standard 2023 CR-V Hybrid. Honda’s own party dubs this project the CR-V Hybrid Racer.
Reportedly, this unit in the process of built by Honda Performance Development. Auto Development Center, and the North American Auto Design Division of American Honda.
If one glances at the photos, the hatchback and tailgate CR-V Transform combined into a rear body shell. Which means that most likely, the car’s engine will mounted at the rear like a real race car.
CR-V CR-V Transform Hybrid Racer body also equipped with a carbon fiber body interspersed with aerodynamic elements that look aggressive. The use of carbon fiber material is applied to almost the entire body, starting from the door panels, fenders, hood, roof, and trunk.
The front door can also seen transforming into a scissor door system, similar to that of a Lamborghini or Ferrari. In addition, according to the racing concept, the CR-V Hybrid will given a massive rear wing.

Even more interesting, Honda says CR-V Transform vehicle can generate more than 800 kW of power. In comparison, the standard 2023 CR-V Hybrid powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, which, combined with an electric motor, can only produce 204 hp.
According to several sources, this project is Honda’s way of promoting the 2023 CR-V Hybrid. In this case, Honda sees increased sales of hybrid vehicles as the first step towards realizing electrification in mobility.
Starting with the 2023 model year, Honda is targeting around 50% of the CR-V Hybrid’s US sales.
